A short, slender teenage boy - about 17~18 years old - of half Japanese and half Eastern European descent, with a messy crown of very thick, very dark brown hair and deep blue eyes. Though his small size and stature may make him appear scrawny at first glance, Heero's body is extremely well-trained, nearly all sinewy muscle with hardly an ounce of fat. He has an intense stare which is often described as chilling. ☄ FASHION: Link. Unimportant. Jeans, an army green tank top, and brown boots. No other accouterments. ☄ DEMEANOUR: Quiet, soft-spoken, and deadly serious, and usually with very little emotional affect. Though he may laugh or joke at very odd moments, more often his humor is so subtle that it leaves one wondering whether he is teasing or if he sincerely meant to be so rude. He is largely unsocialized and conditioned by his handler to behave "emotionless," so he has difficulty interacting with most. In many situations, Heero seems to take things face value and can miss nuance (sometimes to comedic effect), making him prone to reckless decision-making and the pursuit of very straightforward goals - regardless of the personal cost. And, yes, this has historically led to mistakes and tragedy, which Heero takes very hard... but to his credit, he has an uncanny ability to see right through the pomp and circumstance of ideologues and philosophers, making him keenly observant of the true motivations of other people - especially on the battlefield. Despite Heero's overall low social EQ, perceptive people will easily see that there is enough empathy and unconditional compassion in him to fuel that intense drive of his to fight for the innocent and the exploited people of Earth and space, despite his own distaste for killing and war. In his own words, Heero emphatically believes in the importance of strong emotions, the kind you feel in your heart, as his guide to life and morality. ☄ SOUND: ENG/JPN. Mid-range, often quiet and monotone, slightly nasal. His speech is neither coarse nor particularly formal, and he is always very direct and parsimonious with his words. Though he never says much, Heero can be surprisingly eloquent and verbose in speeches and writing. He's terse, but not unintelligent - his inner world is very complex. ☄ SCENT: Nondescript. Generic soap, steel, engine grease. ☄ MENTAL INFORMATION: Although Heero was trained up to be "the Perfect Soldier" - an emotionless attack drone who follows his mission orders without question, hesitation, or moral quandary - his handler Dr. J admits that at his core, Heero's soul is much too gentle for him to fulfill any kind of purpose as an unstoppable, indestructible human weapon... and that is indeed why he was chosen for the job. In other words, the perfect soldier. Heero feels constant tension between his orders and the cost of war to innocent lives, as well as his role as a nameless and expendable soldier vs. his innate human desire to find some meaning in living. Furthermore, as a pilot of the ZERO (Zoning and Emotional Range Omitted) System - which interfaces directly with a mobile suit pilot's neural network and places great physical and mental strain on its users, sometimes the point of causing hallucinations and temporary insanity - Heero's mental stability is frequently put to the test. Heero is one of the few pilots to master this system, evidence of his very strong will. ☄ MAGICAL INFORMATION: None. ☄ COMBAT SKILLS: Heero's genetics have been tampered with to create a "super soldier" capable of great feats of strength and endurance. His focus and his pain tolerance are incredibly high, enabling him to continue fighting even with gunshot wounds and broken bones that he's set himself. He has survived and quickly healed from over 200 fractures since beginning his training as a young boy. In addition to his all-around instruction as a guerrilla soldier and Gundam pilot, Heero is also a trained assassin and expert marksman. Though he is not a Newtype (or equivalent), while piloting a mobile suit using the ZERO System, Heero's accuracy, spatial awareness, and reaction times are similarly enhanced beyond those of typical humans, allowing him to combat even automated weapons systems with ease. The Gundam he pilots is usually the one with big stupid gonzo firepower. ★ OOC ☄ BACKTAGGING: Always and forever! ☄ FOURTHWALLING: No thank you. ☄ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: May take patience and likely be met with confusion on Heero's part, but obviously I'm here for it. ☄ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Heero can be ruthlessly violent if necessary, but only if necessary. He has superhuman strength and pain tolerance, and is an expert at hand-to-hand combat and firearms. ☄ RELATIONSHIPS: OTA 15+, no gender preference. I am a big fan of 1x2x1, but open-minded.
